For this first Lean Software Austin meeting at Compass Learning, we’ll be doing an entirely learning-themed meeting!
Working together in an open and collaborative format, we’ll examine the Lean Software Development topics that we feel are critical to our own efforts, and for our organizations.
Our goal for this meeting is to create an outline of a curriculum for Lean Software Development. This exercise will not only provide a basic roadmap for learning and teaching Lean, but is also a valuable opportunity to review those aspects of Lean and of software development that have the most significance to us.
This meeting will be valuable for beginners and Lean veterans alike. Those who have familiarity with Lean can share what they’ve learned and topics they’ve found critical in their work. And for those who are just beginning to explore Lean, this is a great opportunity to see what others feel are significant topics, to ask questions, and to challenge practitioners and teachers from the unique perspective of one who is starting to learn.
Over time, we’ll continue to add more meat to the bones of the outline, working over the long term to build open sourced modules of material and exercises to support others in learning and teaching Lean Software Development.
