Eli White has graciously offered to give his presentation on "Highly Scalable Web Applications" for PHP that he gave at this year's PHP|TEK conference. from what the slides show, it mostly talks about different recipes of separating out databases across servers and touches on caching methods.

Eli White is a PHP Coder, author, and speaker who currently works as the Community Relations Manager for Zend. In his off hours, he writes more code, plays Xbox, and does Medieval Reenactment in the SCA (including archery, armored combat, brewing and woodworking).
