Being a platform-agnostic solution, Business Accelerator: ESB Edition allows customers to deploy on a number of J2EE application servers and messaging platforms to manage an existing infrastructure or access open source communities. They can also reuse existing investments to build new composite applications.
Business Accelerator allows customers to tap into “islands” of SOA initiatives thanks to Vitria’s ESB federation and mediation capabilities, which allow the customer to build once and deploy anywhere within a heterogeneous environment. Vitria’s upgraded Resolution Accelerator 3.0 runs on Business Accelerator. It addresses exceptions at all levels: system, service, process and business, and handles complete end-to-end lifecycle management. Resolution Accelerator 3.0 includes a “mass repair” feature that identifies multiple instances of the same exception and provides a way to correct them simultaneously. It also features visual dashboards that monitor and analyse real-time exceptions and history and rules-based and meta-data driven dictionaries to guide the user through classifying and routing exceptions.
