problem with shdocvw.dll

Hi, I have created one Active X control using vb6.0 in that i have used microsoft Internet Controls which shows shdocvw.dll file in references. but when i tried to run the program on windows7 it gives error. can not create activex component. plz help, i am not sure but think window7/ IE8 is not supporting the shdocvw.dll, if there is any soluation plz plz help me. Tanks in advance.
