I need to reacquire VB6

I develop apps using VB6. I bought Visual Studio many years ago, and was a developer Fusion member back then.
A year ago, my system, including backups, took a direct lightning strike and I lost everything. Also, I no longer have the CD's.
I searched online, including MicroSoft, but haven't been able to find what I need to rebuild my VB6 developer environment.
Can anyone point me in the right direction? Must I buy the latest and greatest Visual Studio, and if so which version? I develop standalone PC apps for homeowners (i.e. no server, web, or online access needed (K.I.S.S.)).
