Connection Speed values for ADSL/Cable?

    Hello,

    I've been searching around the web for how many bits p/s are transfered max for Cable and ADSL connections at their various connection levels but havent got very far. Does anyone know of a site that specifies this?

    So far I've got modems and Tx connections:

           Dialup144Kbps = 1800, // 14400 Bits * 8 =  Bytes
           Dialup288Kbps = 3600, // 28800
           Dialup336Kbps = 4200, // 33600
           Dialup566Kbps = 7075, // 56600
           ISDN64Kbps = 8192, // 65536
           T1 = 19300, // 154400
           T2 = 787500, // 6300000
           T3 = 5593250, // 44746000
           T4 = 34272000 // 274176000

    the value after the equals is in bytes and in the comments is bits... I'm after any more ISDN connection speeds, cable speed and all the ADSL speeds... I can guess them but they need to be accurate (for documentation)

    thanks

    Try this site - it works out speed of your line and shows comparison with ASDL IDSN, etc

    http://specials.zdnet.co.uk/misc/band-test/speedtest500.html

    Don't forget ADSL speed is assymetrical - upload and download speeds are differnt.

    Also you can run ISDN over two channels at 128 kbs

    Hope this helps
