Default font size in WinNT 4 (sp6a)

  All the dialog boxes on my computer are displaying fonts too big, so that the controls are either unreadable, or have moved behind other controls.  My sys. admin. suggested changing the font size in display properties to "Large Fonts".  
  

  
  This helped with the dialog boxes, but now the other fonts are displayed way to big, and it appears to have made the system tray icons really tiny.
  

  
  Is there a simple fix out there... or am i destined to mis-sized fonts?
