  I have the following error
  

  
  TNS-12500: TNS:listener failed to start a dedicated server process
  

  
  I have a program with VB and Oracle (in network). It coudn't support more than 23 users. If more than 23 users gets logged in ,I get the above error message.
  

  
  Platform : Win 2000 server
  

  
  Please help me with that.

  Use shared server processes. or create more server processes
  Dedicated processess reserve the proces for the user even if they are idle.
