Code button is not working

  Hello,
  I am a new member to this fourm. when ever i try to submit some code using the code control, it is not working. i tried it in both IE and FireFox.  and the problems are as follows:
  

  
  In IE: when i click code button -No response
  In FF: when i click the button- Pop up window is coming, but after i click on ok button again no response.
  

  
  Please let any one let me know what the actuall problem is. Is that a prob with my browser?????

  just manually type in:
  code
  surrounded by square brackets and the same to end the block but with a slash right after the first bracket
