  I have a software program producing xml data, within this data is a long list of elements, all the same with the same attributes. One of these attributes has a name some of which have a prefix, @0_, followed by the name. I want to know how i can replace these prefixs with a word i.e. all the elements with an attribute name that has a prefix, are to have this prefix replaced by a desired word
  
  I am muchly a beginner please help thanks.
