    hello great people,

I recently started working on PHP. I came to know that the first request for an ASP .NET page on the server will compile the ASP .NET code and keep a cached copy in memory. so that the performence is increased. how about our PHP? hope some one will answer me..
    bye..

    Hi,

the Option you mean isn't brought by your Script (ASP, PHP or JavaScript).

It's depending on your Servers config. If you look in the httpd.conf of your Apache you can
find a section handling about storing compiled stuff in your cache and the cache size.

Also there are cache accellerators for PHP like ioncube etc which cache the PHP in a slightly different way to increase its "speed".
