VB6 & VB.Net Side-by-side

    Hi,

I would like to try the VB.Net but don't want to give up VB6 just yet.  So, is it possible to install VB.Net 2005 Express without uninstalling my VB6 Pro?... if so, are there any problems running both on the same computer?

    Thanks,

    BobL

    Hi Bob,

I am running both VB6 and VB .NET 2005 on my computer with out any problems.  I don't think I'll ever really ditch VB6 even if I master .NET because VB6 loads really fast and is great if I just need to quickly crank out a few lines of code to do something simple.  Not to mention I have so much code in VB6 that I would like to be able to reference.

As anything with computers, backup any files you can to play it safe.
