Development Suggestion

    Hi,

I need a suggestion. I’m developing a Video Rental Management System in VB2005 and I don’t know if a database in Access can hold the amount of data is going to be stored and manage. I have the application develop in SQL Server Express but this DBMS has a restriction for 4 GB of storage only, and my application stores pictures of the clients, which makes the database size grow fast.

And I don’t want to include the charge of one SQL Server Standard or whatever version in my application price. I think I only have two options here: one is to use Access (but I don’t know if can hold) or two use MySQL Server.

I have developed applications using Access before but not managing this amount of data. If somebody thinks Access is a good choice and can hold or MySQL is better, other one, any suggestion would be good.

I wouldn't use Access for a database that size.
