own context menu - form.implementation: getting confused

  Hi
  I am trying to code own context menu for vb2003 net. I am using window for every menu, submenus are of the same class. But I have big problems because of focusing windows and also evaluating what to close and what to let when actual menu is being 'scrolled' to submenu item. Do you have any suggestion on how to handle got / lost focus events in submenu operations? Maybe some abstract or way. I am getting confused and thinking context menu is not possible to code by forms. Thanks for every idea.
