How to turn off the email replies

Anytime I post in a thread trying to help someone I get emails everytime anyone makes a post in that thread. Is there someway that I can set the default to NO on the Email me replies to this post. It a pain that anytime I post a reply I have to uncheck the Email me replies to this post which I forget to do each time I do make a post. lol
