How to modify desktop app to work from many computers

    I made desktop application, something about warehouse. It work on one PC on which I have database. But now I must change it to work on 4 computers in network and database should be on distinct PC. I made it in VC# using MS VStudio and I'm asking here for some information, what to look, what to learn, is it easy to modify my app to work like that or I must do it from the beginning? What is keywords to look for? Thanks
