Sortable lists (drag/drop) are not behaving after AJAX callback in IE6/7

I am having a problem with IE 6/7 concerning sortable lists (drag and drop).

I have a panel which consists of a series of sortable lists. The lists are generated dynamically. Everything works fine items can be dragged and dropped to any of the lists as I would expect. The problem arises when I perform an AJAX callback to repopulate the lists and reapply the drag and drop functionality. After the AJAX callback the items will no longer drag and placeholders keep being added to the list. Again, this problem only occurs in IE6/7. In Firefox and Chrome everything works fine.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Sunil.
