buy a book, it's much better than learning off tutorials off a computer screen. then you can use tutorials for really specific stuff afterwards.

i'd recomment Sams Teach Yourself Activer Server Pages .NET in 24 Hours, or Activer Server Pages .NET for Dummies

having said that, i learnt from a book before ASP.NET came out.... but you might as well be as up to date as possible (same for flash, i learnt on 5 but now 6 is here)

i spent all my savings on flash 6 and xm and classes on html vb and java cgi and acess, im taking a class right now on sql, but i haven't leanred the basics of asp

You're really not learning "ASP" persé. VBScript is the language you write an Active Server Page in.  Once you get a good handle on VB, the ASP/VBScript flows like wine.

Like Teft said, you need to know a scripting language for ASP, VBScript or Javascript are the most common ones (although ASP supposedly supports any scripting language including PERL).

Learning ASP is more about learning the Objects provided by ASP.

Check out the tutorials here .

There are tutorials on this very site - http://www.developerfusion.com/asp/3/ - just print them out and hey it's not that different to a book. If you think you like what you are learning THEN buy a book. If you don't like it you have saved money. Also check out:-

Does anyone knows if there is cheep to buy books in spain?  I have seen that they have ENG "computer" books.

A lot of people are probably gonna disagree with this but, personally, I think buying books to learn ASP is a waste of time.
ASP is not very difficult to learn and there are plenty of really good, simple tutorials around. Even Microsoft have easy tutorials on ASP !!!!!
