Good Introduction Book For ASP.NET Using C#

  Im new to the .NET framwework and need to get a handle on it pretty quickly for my new job. Can anyone advise me what the best texts are for learning about the .NET framework.
  

  
  In particular, I am interested in ASP.NET and the C# language. I have about 2 years experience of Java and about 6 months of standard ASP. I dont have a great deal of experience with C or C++ so Id like to avoid books targeted at developers from this kind of background.
