controls disappear!!!

    I made a project in vb.NET, and used the file listbox, directory listbox, etc... in compatibility mode... bizarrely, there're no such controls in .NET framework... whatever... I moved to test it on a clean winME install... I installed the .NET framework, the VB6SP5 runtimes, and ran the project... and, OH!!! Those controls disappears... why is that so??? please, help!!!
