Our group has a wide range or members from a couple of the Joomla Core Team and a range of other developers to general Joomla users. If you are interested in Joomla, this is the group for you. We are VERY ACTIVE and produce a lot of Joomla code for the Joomla core system and Joomla extensions.

    OutsourcingJacqueline and Nicola from Webhost will be giving a talk on using a local designer and the benefits of local support. They will be using one of their projects to highlight this by showing a website from the beginning with a chosen template, then adding the required artwork to customise the site for the client and then the programming of Nicola to bring all of this together.

    Some detailed information on what to look for in a joomla host would be great. Ie what are the optimum PHP memory limits, should safe mode really be on or off and what security measures to install if it is off.Reasoning: we are having intermittant 500 internal server errors, and have spent 2 weeks trying to find out the reasons behind this. Are some templates too feature rich and demand too much processor power? Are there any other factors which generate 500 internal server errors?

I'd also like to talk about our progress towards creating a powerful Content Constructor Kit implementation for Joomla in Jentla.
