The Picture box has a number of properties that effect the way it is displayed:
Appearance
0 - Flat (Picture box is displayed flat, with its border being just a line)
1 - 3D (Picture box appears in 3D)
BorderStyle
0 - None (No border displayed)
1 - Fixed Single (Displays a border)
BackColor
Specifies the colour of its background
