Get file information

VB provides a number of functions to retrieve information about a file. The code below demonstrates a few of these functions

'get the size of a file in bytes
lngBytes = FileLen("C:\thefile.txt")

'get the modified date of c:\thefile.txt
vDate = FileDateTime("C:\thefile.txt")

vAttributes = GetAttr("C:\thefile.txt")
'see if the file has a read-only attribute
