GGQ: Functional Programming with Groovy

Functional programming is all the rage at the moment. A lot of people might not realise that you can do functional programming in Groovy.

As Groovy runs on the JVM it's also pretty easy to intergrate seamlessly with other languages languages Scala and Clojure.

This session is an open session - we can do Lightning talks or just have a general discussion - I'll leave it up to you guys. It is also an opportunity to try out a new venue "The Edge" which we are hoping to make more use of in future. The room we are using is called "The Mezzanine" which is upstairs.
