Toolbar Control

Introduction

Toolbars are seen in almost every application, and gives users quick access to regularly used features such as Save. Microsoft offers a toolbar control in its Common Controls which makes it very easy to add a toolbar to your own application. This tutorial will show you how!

To add the Toolbar control to your VB project, click Project|Components, and check the box next to Microsoft Windows Common Controls x.x where x is the version of Visual Basic you are using.

REQUIRED FILES

If you will be installing a program using the ImageList control, you need to distribute the following files:
MSCOMCTL.OCX - 1MB (VB 6 SP3) or
COMCTL32.OCX - 596KB (VB 5 SP3)
