Templates in ASP.NET just like DreamWeaver does..

  I have used DreamWeaver for creating web sites for a while now.  Mainly, I have developed PHP but I have decided to extend my skills and learn ASP.NET.
  In fact, I am looking to use VB studio.NET.  But something that I am missing is to create and maintain templates centrally: in DW we have the facility to create a template for a whole website which makes my life easier as i just need to update a single file to have changes reflected accross the entire application.
  Is there a way to achieve the same results with ASP.NET or VB studio?
  I have searched the web for this answer and believe this to be a usefull title for a tutorial (if possible?!)
