how to lock html file

    hello,
    i came to know that, there is a facility to lock html files. i mean when ever we double click or open the html file, then it should ask for the password as we have in MSword.
    if anyone help out, I'll be thankful to them.

    You can't protect HTML files on the web from prying eyes.

    yeah, you'd have to use a server-side scripting language such as ASP/ASP.NET/PHP/CFM/JSP etc.
