uploading files

  • 15 years ago

    I'm writing some code to upload files.  I've heard there are some problems with using moveuploadedfile() so i'm steering clear of it.

    Can anyone tell me if there is a problem with using move($FILES['uploadedfile']['tmpname']);

    My worries are that it will
    A: cause errors in php because its expecting to delete a file that doesn't exist.
    B: Get deleted later on because it is marked as a tempery file.

    Thanks for reading a newby's question.
