implementing Search on masterpage

  hi all,

  I want to have a search option on my masterpage , so that I can have this search available on all the web pages.

  - I can easily make a web user control and can add to the master page. But on my web pages the searching criteria will be different on each web page. So how can I handle that?

  - Else I have to add a textbox and search button on every web form and will have to do the coding individually.

  Any idea how to add such type of search?
