Agile 101 - Sydney, Australia
happened 8 years ago
Organised by Agile Alliance Australia - Sydney Chapter
A year ago we held our first 'Agile 101', the plan was to hold it every few months but it never happened. So on it's first anniversary we are setting up a recurring meeting (3 a year) for those interested in an introduction to Agile. If we get enough people interested each time we plan on doing the session then we will set a location and a presenter.Note: This is in addition to the usually monthly meetup. Here is the original description of the session.AGILE 101

The concepts this game demonstrates are explained by the Theory of Constraints and optimal work queue sizing.

Customer Development - Sydney, Australia
happened 8 years ago
Organised by The Sydney Limited WIP Society
... "too often when it's time to think about customers, marketing, positioning, or PR, we delegate it to 'marketroids' or 'suits.' Many of us are not accustomed to thinking about markets or customers in a disciplined way. We know some products succeed and others fail, but the reasons are complex and the unpredictable. We're easily convinced by the argument that all we need to do is 'build it and they will come.' And when they don't come, well, we just try, try, again.
