The LA PhoneGap Meetup group is proud to be hosting meetups in the LA area. We will be doing presentations on various Cordova/PhoneGap, HTML5, and mobile development related topics that the group shows interest in. Meet other mobile developers, the best tool for quickly building mobile applications for iPhone, Android, BlackBerry, Palm, iPad, Windows Phone 7, and Symbian. If you're an entrepreneur looking to build a mobile application, or a web developer who wants to build mobile applications in HTML and JavaScript while still taking advantage of the core native feature-based SDKs, PhoneGap is for you. Come to learn and share your knowledge.

Apache Cordova is a platform for building native mobile applications using HTML, CSS and JavaScript.

PhoneGap has been accepted into the Apache Software Foundation for incubation as Apache Callback, where it will remain free and open source. More information on Apache Callback and the incubation process can be found here.This download and all other PhoneGap code is hosted by Apache Incubator Project Callback on GitHub.
