The Seattle Google Technology Users Group meets on the 3rd Monday of the month at StartPad in downtown Seattle.
Our members are using or want to learn more about developing applications using Google technology, including:

- Google Wave - real-time collaboration and communiction

Great Fun to present, would love to give a comprehensive presentation on google maps API and how I used it to intergrate my DB backends etc and draw the pretty flightviewer. For those who did not see my quick work project presentation, SymonTek's flightview project was a hectic two day rocky R&D journey that finally landed with a realtime plane plotting and status system.

On Nov 5th, 2009, Google released a completely new JavaScript library for developing web applications called "Closure". Along with it, they also released an optimizing "compiler" (minifier+code optimizer), and a client-side template library. Shuichi Koga (Google engineer) will give us an overview of the Closure technologies. We're also going to be holding this meeting on the EASTSIDE - at Google's NEW Kirkland campus.
