Learn and Master Web Development Technologies

This group is dedicated to anyone interested in the technical aspects of Web Development. The aim of the group is to develop our skills to an expert level, so we welcome experienced web developers to serve as mentors, as well as anyone at novice and intermediate levels. Our meetings will be technical in nature as the aim of this group is to build our skills technically. We will from time to time have non-technical meetings and work-shop, and the hope is to also be able to invite expert guest speakers. We will enhance and build our overall skill at many web development technologies as possible, from scripting languages such as PHP to tools such as the Adobe CS4 suite. Members are encouraged to continue supporting the group even after they have developed their skills, to be mentors.

I also want to encourage an active online mentoring community where we can discuss technical and non-technical aspects of web development. I am also trying to create a good networking opportunity as well. I understand that meeting personally may be a challenge for many people so I am also seeking out electronic methods as well.
