This sessions will demonstrate penetration testing for the asp.net developer. We will utilise proven tools to hack/penetrate an HP Rackmount server (Owned by Joel) that has an existing asp.net website on it. All tenets of penetration testing will be demonstrated. From reconnaissance to payloads and defence. The take away is the realisation that you should own these tools to perform weekly penetration tests on your own sites. If you aren't testing yourself then you aren't keeping up.

On a semi-regular basis, office hours will be accompanied by a development sprint.If you haven't participated in a sprint before, sprints are short periods of time (a few hours) during which a collection of people get together to work on a useful open source project together. As of now, most sprints will probably occur over two weeks. On the first week, we'll have a quick (5-10 minute) demo of the project by whoever suggested it, followed by a quick tour of the codebase.

Usually people plan talks. David Pollak does so only grudgingly. But this is an evening talk. This is a talk where you're in David's brain (a scary place on the best of days.) So, what is David going to say? Who knows. Maybe he'll be boring and talk about Lift 3 and its support for converting Scala into JavaScript. Maybe he'll be outrageous and say scandalous things about other web frameworks (like the fact the Django was actually coded by goats... David has documentary evidence.
