Two crystal report problems

Dear all,
Totally, I have 2 problems that follow
As I have selected the paper size – ‘Letter Transverse 11 x 8.5 inch’ and I expect the paper length detected by ‘Epson LQ 570’ should be just 11 inches, actually the paper size detected auto. is not 11 inches.
The positions in the form printed are not exactly correct as I need to close crystal report application and power off the printer. Then the positions there will become correct. If I just either close the report application or power off the printer, the situation is just like to that I reprint the report and get the printout in which the positions of the fields are a little bit incorrect.
Would you pls help me by giving me any suggestions?
