Change a control's properties by the hWnd

    Can I change any properties from a control, if I can get its hWnd?


    In case you are wondering, what I'm trying to do is change the desktop's background by getting the hWnd of the 'Desktop's window'. This I know how to do, while what I don't know is how to change a control's property when you only have its hWnd.
    10x in advance.
