  Hi, When a user starts typing in a combobox, I want the drop downlist to display, and the closest match to start displaying. (will be sorted alphabetically). Only an item in the list will be selectable.

  I was looking for the same thing tonight.  I found it here: http://freevbcode.com/ShowCode.Asp?ID=5944

  The code is in a module and you simply pass your keypress events to a procedure and it does the rest.  An example form is included and is pretty self explanatory.
