  Alamo is going to be showing "Big Trouble in Little China" as part of their Tough Guy Cinema promotion and the Spring Film Group will be screening a big chunk of all the projects they shot last year, some of which Mandy, Cliff, others, and I had a hand in.Either way there'll be plenty of people there for both so it'll be a great chance to meet lots of other awesome peeps.I'm not sure how much the Tough Guy screening is but the SFG screening is $5.

  Gone With the Pope is a never-before-seen exploitation film starring writer/director Duke Mitchell (Massacre Mafia Style) as Paul, a gangster with an unholy scheme: to kidnap the pope and charge "a dollar from every Catholic in the world" as the ransom. Shot in 1975 as Kiss the Ring, Gone With the Pope was unfinished at the time of Duke Mitchell's death in 1981. Sage Stallone and Bob Murawski of Grindhouse Releasing rediscovered Gone With the Pope in 1995 and vowed to save it from obscurity.

  Come join your fellow LOST fanatics for the season finale. It will be broadcast in HD at the Alamo Drafthouse. The townsfolk must fight off the attacks.It's been heavily publicized for its god-awfulness — making it a must-see in my book.

  OMG Just saw this via one of our members, there are like 300 people RSVPd for this on Facebook. Here are the Details from them:Wednesday march 24th @ 12pm on the University of Houston we will host a zombie flash mob. We usually have zombies lurch and gait but we want to try something different. We're thinking about running zombies as it attracts more attention and it has never been done. Some movies that have examples are 28 weeks later and the dawn of the dead remake.
