The Agilist versus Data Architect civil (uncivil?) war - Melbourne, Australia
happened 8 years ago
Organised by Melbourne Scrum User Group
There's sometimes a tension between traditional data architects/ modellers, and agilists.Perhaps it's not too hard to understand. The "data" types feel they?ve been burned by fast delivery of applications that won't integrate with other systems, and the agile developers don't want to sit around waiting for head office architects to describe a perfect start-up model. One approach to ending this civil (uncivil?) war is to use published data model/class model patterns.

The Retrospective Games - Spring Hill, Australia
happened 8 years ago
Organised by Brisbane Agile/Scrum User Group
My experience with retrospectives is that they become stale after a few sprints if limited to Went Well, Do Differently, etc. Fortunately other games are available to make retrospectives more fun and therefore more effective again. ESVP, Triple Nickles and SMART are some examples that we can share and experience first hand so you can decide what to do in your next retrospective!Come along to have some fun and interact with this style of learning/teaching.
